Each year I amazed at the miracle that continues to happen each day, each year, at La Salle Academy.  I am honored to say that we continue to thrive.

In September 2003, La Salle Academy opened its doors for the first time with a commitment to an education that went beyond 8th grade.  We promised to support, assist, and care for our graduates throughout their high school journey by being a consistent presence in their lives and believing that they could succeed.  In June 2012, 100% of our first class will graduate high school.  For me, this is not only a reflection of their hard work, but also an opportunity for me as President of La Salle Academy to say to our Board and Benefactors that your contributions have made a difference in the lives of our students.

La Salle Academy is owned by a Board of Trustees who believe that all children, no matter the financial circumstances deserve the opportunity of a quality Catholic education.  Our Board recently purchased the building next door, and we are in the process of renovating it in order to strengthen our program and build our future.

Each year we are faced with different obstacles and opportunities for growth.  We face these challenges because we believe in our students.  We believe in who we are and that what we are doing is making a difference in the lives of our students and their families.  We can only do what we do because of the goodness and generosity of ALL who believe in our students and their future.

With prayerful appreciation,

Sister Jeanne McGowan, SSJ

President
